Our Story
When I moved from Baltimore over a decade ago, I never thought I’d find myself without family. However, as a newly single mom with limited local support, I was struggling to find consistent, quality child care coverage when going back to work full-time in a brand new industry.
I had to juggle snow days, sick days, school breaks, on top of the after school sports/activities that started AND ended before my work day. I had little PTO and even less flexibility. I worked for a few years but felt drawn back towards working with kids, families, and the community. I missed being involved in Evan and Emmie’s school events.
After investigating several potential opportunities, I felt that Oliver’s Nannies would best allow me the flexibility to remain in sync with their schedules as well as the ability to elevate the existing child care options in the Lehigh Valley community. Additionally, it did not go unnoticed that we had adopted our own “Oliver” at a time when we as a family were looking for unconditional support.
Growing up alongside a sibling with special needs further motivated my commitment to having reliable, managed care for families when they need it, how they need it. I firmly believe in taking care of our caretakers, allowing them the opportunity to access benefits in exchange for the peace of mind their quality child care offers our clients. We cannot wait to work with you!
